Description
- Make sure the Certeza CR-1002 Aneroid BP Monitor is in good working condition. Inspect the cuff, tubing, and pressure gauge for any damage or defects.
- Place the monitor on a flat surface at eye level, where you can easily read the pressure gauge.
- Have the patient sit in a comfortable and relaxed position with their arm exposed.
- Explain the procedure to the patient to help them remain calm.
- Ensure that the Certeza Model 747 Stethoscope is clean and in proper working order.
- Choose the appropriate chest piece (usually the diaphragm) for auscultation. Ensure it is securely attached to the tubing.
